Pace 10:32

My husband, jun, and I met his mother and her friend to run the course for the Halloween Half down Provo canyon. Oh goodness...was this a beautiful run!? Amazing. I attempted to hold back my pace during the first few miles down the canyon so that I could warm up and not pound my knees into the ground. It worked, I had a good amount of energy during my run. I don't think I really have the "downhill" running technique mastered yet...my knees really ached during the steeper sections in the canyon. However, it was cool and cloudy, perfect for running. I was able to manage my calorie intake well and besides some slight tightness in my left calf at the end, my legs felt great. This run made me even more excited for the race!
Fri, 08 Oct 2010 06:00:00
